Welcome to this new Blog

I have lived in Pinner on three separate occasions, as a child, newly married and  am now retired and living in Pinner.

I have lived in many places in between but have a passion for Pinner Village and will present pictures and comment from time to time.

Here to start with are a batch of pictures taken on my mobile phone - of the lovely old High Street and one of the band concerts held in the Memorial Park

I would also like to take this opportunity to comment on the poor state of Pinner's grass verges - Harrow Council seem to be very poor at maintaining these, even when cut they do not trim the edges or sweep away the grass.
